The girls had their 1st track meet of the season. They had lots of fun and did well in their events. Megan ran the 800, the 400, and anchored the 4 X 4 (1600 meter relay). This is Caylin's first year of track and she wanted to try the long jump. She also ran the 200 meter hurdles and the 1500 meter run.
I think we may have a new event to watch!
Megan wasn't too happy coming down the final stretch of the 800. She was following the lead and let her get away...it's good to get beat sometimes - it builds character, right???!
We're looking forward to a fun season.

Wow. In that picture of the two of them, Megan looks SO much like you and Caylin looks SO much like Jeff (President???). Have fun! Yes, it is good to be beat sometimes. not FUN, but it will make her try that much harder next time, right?
Oh, and BTW, that really was a cake on my blog. Just a cute, well executed cake. Crazy, huh?
The picture of the girls is very cute, it's crazy to see Caylin so grown up!

I can't believe how much your kids have grown. And track is fun to watch! It doesn't seem that long ago we were back in the Marysville 6th ward. Jacob is loving track and has a meet tomorrow (if it doesn't get snowed/rained out). I think he is running the mile.
