Pictures from sunny California!

This year we are making our own Spring Break. My boss went with his family to Hawaii so I had some time off and we decided to go visit family in California (the Bay area so we're not tempted to bug Ryan!)

We took off after 9:00 sacrament meeting. We stopped at the Medford temple.

Beautiful drive through the mountains.

We stayed at a hotel in Mount Shasta Sunday night.

We toured the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield, CA.

Caylin and I got a tennis lesson from Uncle Craig. Megan opted out and went for a run instead.

We took the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit - like the MAX) to San Fransisco and arrived at the Powell Street turn around for the cable cars.

We had fun at Fisherman's Wharf . Caylin and I checked out the left handed shop on Pier 39.

The kids had fun playing in the pool while it was draining. (It's getting resurfaced.)
Jeff and Kyle flew in Wednesday night to join us for some fun and we will all drive home on Saturday. (That should be fun!)

Megan relaxing at Pacifica Beach. This beach has a Taco Bell right on the beach. It's been featured on the travel channel. The kids had a taco there just so they could say they ate there!

Jeff and I hiked up the hill and did some whale watching. There were some gray whales migrating north. It was pretty cool. We took a picture with the timer.


We had a great day. We drove South along the coast hwy for a while. It was so beautiful. We're planning more fun tomorrow.
