last day of school

Megan and Caylin have worked hard this past school year and their efforts were rewarded!
Both girls received President's Award for Educational Excellence and the The National Presidential Fitness Award. Megan also received an Award for Science Student of the Year.
We got a kick out of that because Megan was often frustrated with the philosophies, negativity, and propaganda being thrown at the students. In her sweet way she refuted those things and made her beliefs very clear to him. This is what he had printed on her certificate:
All true students understand the value of learning and how to succeed with or without a teacher. Outstanding students are their own learners, they are listeners, writers, artists, and poets. In every occasion they understand the requirements and exceed expectations. True students learn for the sake of knowledge's ability to transform the individual. They are consistent in acceptance of their responsibility in the learning process and respect others' learning environment. Megan Waite has always succeeded in exceeding expectations.
So he can be a little verbose - but she had a positive effect on him.
Good job, girls!
