We did have some fun this summer. Here are some pictures from this past month.
We were able to visit with cousins from Spokane. Caylin and Erynn had fun swimming in the pool at the local Best Western.
We went with a big group to Wild Waves and had a great time!
Caylin's been helping me with the lawn mowing. We've been mowing Grandpa and Grandma's lawn this summer also since Grandpa had his hip surgery.
We went to the coast this past weekend. Megan went with the YW for a retreat so she didn't come with us. Caylin brought Amy and we had a great time, even though it was so misty in the mornings it was like being in a cloud!
Touring the light house at Cape Meares.
We went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
We had a great view from our hotel window.
The girls had fun and so did Jeff and I.
Both Megan and Caylin are looking forward to school starting. Megan's been running all summer with the high school XC team. She's excited to compete at a different level and see what she's got and Caylin just started volleyball. Kyle enlisted in the Army and received an M.O.S. (Military Occupation Specialty) - which is Signals Intelligence Analyst. It sounds like a good program for him. As soon as he finishes his online HS courses he can finalize his processing and find out when he leaves for basic training. I think the sooner the better will be good for both of us. I'm not so patient with him these days and the feeling seems mutual!
