joy in the journey

As I've been mulling over my full plate and looking for ways to keep it from tipping right over, I'm reminded of President Monson's admonition to "Find joy in the journey - NOW!"
Tomorrow we will get together with family and rally around Kyle. He finished his last school credits and will be leaving in 2 weeks for basic training in the Army. He met and fell in love with a girl in his soldier training, who is also going into the Army. A couple of days ago he asked her to marry him. We are still processing that information.
So at this junction of the journey, I am looking at the positive possibility that Jeff and I have been such a good example of what a committed and successful marriage can be that Kyle is eager to have that for himself!
My concern, as a new family unit is approached, is for the differences.
My hope is that they will have the strength to make choices everyday that support the commitment they make.
My prayer is that "...our children may know to what source they may look..." and "... build their foundation...upon the rock...which is a sure foundation, a foundation wheron if men build they cannot fail".
